About Me
I am an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Arizona, where I do research and teach in the general area of computer architecture and embedded systems design and optimization.
I received my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida (UF) in May 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Ann Ramirez (Gordon-Ross). I received my M.Sc degree from the University of Florida in 2011, and my B.Eng degree from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2005.
In 2019, I received the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award for my research on runtime adaptable STTRAM cache memories.
I am grateful for my hardworking students and to the NSF for the support.
There have been some stories/interviews about my research: UA News, KGUN9 News, Arizona Public Media (AZPM) Science Podcast. More...
Outside of doing research, I enjoy playing the traveling, keyboard, bass guitar, reading non-fiction, writing, playing volleyball, thinking about random stuff, and having conversations with random strangers in airports.
